| John Simpkins Class of 1967 |
John Simpkins, class of 1967, passed away unexpectedly
on January 4, 2011 at his home. John was originally from
Columbus, GA and attended Berry all four years of high
school. His senior year he played on the basketball and
baseball teams and he drove the Berry bus.
After college, John went to work in the Jimmy Carter
administration in Washington, DC as a U.S. Marshal.
Most recently he worked in banking in Richmond, VA. A
memorial service was held for John on January 7th in
Richmond where he lived.
John is survived by his wife, Deb and one daughter,
Tessa.
